Speak Now! Or Forever Hold Your Peace: Artist Reception

While our current Calamus Auditorium tenant, Washington United for Marriage, is working hard to maintaining marriage equality in WA State in the upcoming election, Gay City Arts is preparing for its first multidisciplinary art installation in response to the outcome of Ref 74. Speak Now! will engage queer visual, spoken word, and theatre artists to share their thoughts, feelings and stories about love, commitment and partnership in the wake of Ref 74. The Artists Reception will unveil the visual arts component of the show and feature spoken word performances by a lineup of queer poets. Complimentary wine and noshes will be served.
