Seattle's Lunar New Year Celebration

Seattle's annual Lunar New Year Celebration is back on Saturday, February 1st from 11am - 4pm in the heart of the Chinatown-International District. Come out and help us usher in the year of the horse! On the main stage we will have Dragon and Lion Dances, traditional Japanese taiko drumming, Korean performances, Japanese Shi Shi Mai, and the 4th annual Children's Costume Contest. For foodies, over 30 neighborhood restaurants will be offering $2 tasting menus. Make sure to join us for the annual Lunar New Year Food Walk! Kids of all ages will enjoy the Arts and Cultural Pavilion, with arts and crafts projects for all! As this is the year of the horse, make sure to check out the pony rides!
