Seattle Antifreeze: Urban Gardening

From local P-Patch gardens to backyard farms and patio container gardens, Seattleites definitely have a green thumb. Join Colin McCrate, co-founder of Seattle Urban Farm Company and co-author of Food Grown Right, in Your Backyard as he shares tips for growing edible foods at home, no matter how much space you have. Our mission is simple: bust the myth of the “Seattle Freeze!” For newcomers to the city—or those who have been here for years—Seattle AntiFreeze is a place to meet new people, learn a bit about where you live, and discover practical tips for making this place your home. Cost: Free (does not include museum admission)
