The Normal Heart Benefit Reading

Join us for a staged reading of Larry Kramer’s THE NORMAL HEART — a fearless look at the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s — performed on the campus of Fred Hutch, a global leader in today’s search for a preventive HIV vaccine. The reading will be performed by the powerful cast of Strawberry Theatre Workshop's critically acclaimed Spring 2014 production, directed by Intiman Artistic Collective member SHEILA DANIELS and featuring Intiman’s Producing Artistic Director Andrew Russell as Felix Turner. *************************************************************** All donations given at this reading will benefit Fred Hutch’s tireless work to discover an HIV/AIDS vaccine, and Fred Hutch scientists will be available in the lobby for you to learn more about their current research. *************************************************************** The intimate story of a tight-knit group of friends that doubles as a real-life political thriller, THE NORMAL HEART is a fearless look at the sexual politics of New York during the discovery of the AIDS epidemic.
