ART BEASTIES 'Time Difference' & Claire Johnson 'Cordillera'

Join us for two new exhibitions at SOIL Artist Run Gallery! Exhibition runs April 2, 2015 - May 2, 2015 Reception April 2, 2015, Thursday, 6-8 pm ART BEASTIES presents 'Time Difference 時差: Seattle–New York–Tokyo' in the frontspace gallery, showcasing work by Paul Komada, Akiko Masker, Yuki Nakamura, MAHO HIKINO, Saki Kitamura, Mayu Kuroda, Noriyo Yasunaga, Kakeru Asai, Ko Irkt, Tokio Kuniyoshi (from Seattle, Tokyo, and New York) SOIL Member Claire Johnson will exhibit new, large-scale paintings focusing on the patterns and colors of topographic landscape in the backspace. A cordillera refers to an extensive overlapping and parallel chain of mountains, in this case part of the western backbone of the Pacific Ring of Fire.
