The Nightmare - Thriller Thursday

Start your Halloween weekend off right! Join the Abbey of St. Joan for their annual Halloween gala, The Nightmare. Proceeds will benefit the Abbey of St. Joan's Granting Fund. The party starts at 7:00pm @ R Place Costume contest sign up and judging is from 8:00-11:00 The finalists will meet and the top 3 winners will be chosen at midnight; $1000 for 1st, $500 for 2nd and $250 for 3rd place. Drink Specials! $10 suggested donation at the door. Credit cards will be accepted. Marilyn falls down across the land The midnight costume contest is close at hand Ophelia crawls in search of boys To promulgate y'awl's universal joys And whosoever shall be found With stigmatic guilt that gets them down Must dance with Faye and the Novices of hell Or write inside a nun's shame-veil Dinah's makeup will be on point Look at all the monsters up in this joint And sparkly Nuns with painted eyes Will judge three costumes to win a prize And though you try to stay upright Your high-heeled ankles ache in despair For no mere mortal can resist The Abbey of St. Joan's Nightmare!
