“Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up!” The passengers on a bus get way laid at a secluded roadside diner by a winter storm amidst rumors of UFO’s and visiting aliens. But there are one too many passengers! Will the Real Martian Please Stand up was first aired on May 26, 1961
“The Midnight Sun” A young artist stays in her apartment despite the fact that the world has suddenly spun out of orbit. The Midnight Sun was first aired on November 17th, 1961
“The Night of the Meek” The promise of Christmas Cheer often rings a hollow note to the denizens of Skid Row. But for one unfortunate, belief offers miracles in this tale that will soften the heart of the cynic, and delight the dreamer in us all. ( The Night of the Meek was first broadcast, live, on December 23, 1960)
Directed by Theater Schmeater founder Tim Moore, who also portrays “Rod”, this year’s edition of The Twilight Zone: Live! boasts a talented cast that includes Dan Chercover, Dave Clapper, Keith Dahlgren, Mike Gilson, David Goldstein, D’Arcy Harrison, Lauryn Rilla Hochberg, Troy Lund, Joe McCarthy, Sarah Papineau, and James Weidman.
Set design and construction is by Gerarde Menendez. The lighting design is by Dave Baldwin, with sound design by Tim Moore. Costumes are by Caitland Rich, with property designs by Jessamyn Bateman-Lino.
The Twilight Zones: Live! will have a Pay What You Can preview on Thursday November 29th at 8:00PM. Opening night is November 21st , and the production runs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00PM through December 19th. (Note: no performance on Thursday November 27th due to Thanksgiving.) General admission tickets purchased on-line in advance for all shows are $25.00 or $22.00 for students and seniors. General admission tickets purchased at the box office are $25.00 or $21.00 for students and seniors.
