Rick Steves: Travels in Cuba

Edmonds-based guidebook author and TV host Rick Steves reports on his recent 10-day trip through Cuba, offering travel tips and images from this hidden gem. His photo-illustrated talk will walk attendees through the frustrations, surprises, and rewards that come with traveling in the land of rhumba and rum, romance and revolution. Cuba, the forbidden fruit of the Caribbean for Americans for the past 50 years, is finally opening up to us. According to Steves, now is the time to visit the country. Travelers who venture there soon will be treated to a special look at culture and sights of the island before the Castro era comes to an end.
