Transgender Children's Book Reading with Local Author Tobi Hill-Meyer

Join local author and Gender Justice League board chair, Tobi Hill-Meyer, as she reads from her children's book - A Princess of Great Daring - which follows a young transgender girl's daring adventures with her friends. "When Jamie is ready to tell people that she's really a girl inside, she becomes a princess of great daring in a game she plays with her best friends to gather her courage. She's pleased (but not surprised) that her questing friends turn out to be just as loyal and true as any princess could want." This is a picture book written with children 4-8 in mind. Children, youth, and adults of all ages are welcome to attend. Chairs will be available with floor seating in the front being prioritized for younger children. Tobi will read the whole book, which will take roughly 15 minutes, and there will be time for questions and discussion afterward. Books will be available for purchase at the reading.
