LMAC is a community of queer & trans artists that showcases innovative interdisciplinary art. We foster artistic growth and collaboration in a creative and supportive space. We seek to curate accessible and transformative experiences for people of all artistic backgrounds.

On the first night of Transience, we will kick off with our Patron Night from 6-8pm.
Guests at our Patron night will be the first to see the show, and will have the opportunity to discuss the work with members of the collective and contributing artists.
This event will be hosted by the fabulous The Lady B and will include Guest Artist Talks from Seattle forces to be reckoned with-
Tara Hardy
Tara Hardy is a working-class queer femme poet and the current Art Coordinator at Gay City Arts. In 2002, she was elected by the people and named by the city council as Seattle’s Poet Populist, or poet of the people, and has appeared on seven National Poetry Slam stages. She holds an MFA from Vermont College in fiction writing, and an MSW from the University of Michigan in community organizing.

Chris Jordan
Chris Jordan is an activist, muralist, installation artist and teacher. He is a member of Fab-5, a non-profit arts
organization that empowers underserved youth by guiding them in their creative potential through a variety of different art forms such as dance, music, visual arts, and literary arts.

Flynn Bickley
Flynn Bickley is a Seattle based queer/trans doll and mixed media artist and is a current member of the Gay City Arts Curating Council. He is a founding member of Seattle’s original Art Lending Library (2008-2013) which brought local, original artwork to regular folks around Seattle for free!

Following the talks, our guest artist speakers will participate in a Q & A panel about the intersection of art, queerness and transience.
Tickets are $65 each // 2 for $100- available at the door
Your ticket insures you early access to the show, a chance to listen and ask questions during the Guest Artist Talks, and gift bag with a collection of donated work by members that you get to take home with you!

At 8pm, the gallery will be open to the public with a suggested donation of $5-$10 at the door, and our Transience- Opening Night will commence. The gallery will be open until 11:30pm on Friday. Friday night will feature performance artists:

On Satuday, we invite guests to Transience- Dance Among the Art. The gallery will again be open to the public ($5 suggested) and will feature amazing DJs: Reverend Dollars and Jimi Jaxon and others (TBA) bringing you some Saturday night vibes <3.
SUNDAY
Sunday, the gallery will be open earlier in the day ($5 suggested) for your last chance to see the show- Transience- Brunch in the Gallery. There will be brunch snacks courtesy of Macrina Bakery & Cafe and The Essential Baking Company, and a brunch bar!

The event will be held on the upstairs level of King Street Station and will have elevator access.
Seating will be limited, we aim to prioritize accesibility and ask that if you need a seat for this event, please contact us and we will reserve one for you.
Bathrooms are downstairs, and will be accessible via stairs or elevator.
This event is taking place in an Amtrak building which will still be open to the public so we will unfortunately not be able to make all bathrooms gender neutral. However, there will be a single stall gender neutral bathroom available.
This is not a dry event. Each of these events will feature a bar with drinks for purchase.
EPILEPSY WARNING: One of the video pieces has the potential to induce seizures for people with Photosensitive Epilepsy.
This is not a scent free event.
This event is all ages- ID's will be checked at the door for those intending to buy drinks.
Once you come to one night of the event, you can bring your proof of entry back with you for any of the other nights and get in for free.
