Epic Movie Night: DUNE

David Lynch's sci-fi epic hits the Central Cinema screen for a night of space, spice, and sandworms. Starring Kyle MacLachlan, Linda Hunt, Alicia Witt, Patrick Stewart, some giant sandworms, a handful of actors you'll recognize from Twin Peaks, and Sting all oiled up wearing only a plastic Speedo. Set in the year 10,191 on the desert planet of Arrakis (known as Dune to its friends). This is the source of the Spice Melange, the most valuable commodity in all of the universe. Two great houses fight for control of the Spice, but when betrayal all but destroys one of them, a duke's son must rise to fulfill his destiny in order to take back control of the planet.
