Textile collector, David Paly and Botanical Colors founder, Kathy Hattori for gallery talks in the exhibition, "Mood Indigo: Textiles from Around the World," where you can track indigo’s travels with examples of Japanese sarongs and kimono, Nigerian paste-resist patterning, and European tapestries.
Kathy Hattori is the founder of Botanical Colors in Seattle. Botanical Colors offers sustainably derived natural dyes to designers, as alternatives to industrial dyeing, that use less water, are non-toxic and biodegradable.
