Together for Justice & Equity Reception

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Anderson-Murray Anti-Discrimination Law to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from discrimination. However, as we have seen first-hand this year, our fight for justice and equity is not a destination, but a journey. Our rights, if left unprotected, are vulnerable to attack and repeal. Now is the time to stand together with our friends, family and allies to ensure Washington State remains a place where the LGBTQ community has a future. We have had some remarkable wins, but for the most vulnerable in our state, we continue to fight to ensure people’s basic needs are met – education, housing, healthcare, employment, and access to public accommodations. Our community is strong and resilient, but only if we stand and fight together.
