Hey everyone! In order to have a more thurough history discussion, we decided to move that topic to a later date. This week will just be a general bootblack get together. Feel free to bring your kit and a project you are working on!
If it's nice outside we will be meeting on the patio in the back of Doghouse. There are about 5 steps up without a railing to get to the gravel covered patio. There is also a wooden gate that opens to the parking lot next to Doghouse, we will keep this open for convenience. Chairs will be provided.
If it's rainy out we will be upstairs in Doghouse "HQ". So get up there you need to go through the store and head up a flight of fairly wobbly steps. (Finding free accessible places in Seattle is pretty hard, if anyone has other suggestions that may be more accessible to members who wish to attend, please let me know).
We also try to keep the space scent free, or low scent, but people may be using bootblacking products with high chemical content.
In the mean time, if you have any ideas about what you would like to see, or a topic you are passionate about, feel free to contact Paul or Caleb and we can get you on the schedule!!
