Central Cinema celebrates Gene Wilder with a screening of The Producers, his first collaboration with Mel Brooks. Wilder plays Leo Bloom, a small-time accountant who partners with Max Bialystockto produce the worst Broadway show of all time, after realizing there is a way to make more money with a flop than a hit. Also starring Zero Mostel and Dick Shaun. Written and directed by Mel Brooks (his first feature).
