Glad you asked!
Projection Mapping is a newer art form that has taken the world by storm, but Seattle has been a little low to catch up ;)
Projection Mapping uses everyday video projectors, but instead of projecting on a flat screen (e.g. to display a PowerPoint), light is mapped onto any surface, turning common objects of any 3D shape into interactive displays. More formally, projection mapping is “the display of an image on a non-flat or non-white surface.

"Very rarely do musicians have the maelstrom of various talents whirling in their arsenals that possess Tom Butcher (ORQID, CODEBASE). Butcher is a Seattle-based musician whose genius spans many arenas: he is a tastemaker of modern design, personable, a wine lover, a chef and auto enthusiast. What’s more, he is a software architect managing a team of engineers whose computing system nodes spread across the globe. His engineer’s insight affords him a holistic understanding of system architecture that has carried him from the music studio to the DJ booth.
As ORQID, Butcher mines stripped-down, sensual and experimental sound driven by solid synthesis. He uses analog, digital and hybrid synthesis and has a penchant for vintage drum machines and synths. Recent turmoil and self-reflection directed him to look inward and draw upon a deep well of emotion while recording vocals reminiscent of Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode. Butcher’s trademark is now and has always been collectible, richly packaged, quality vinyl objects of desire with digital releases via his own label imprint, DISCO COUTURE. Butcher recently launched online and retail synthesizer company Patchwerks.
MORE ARTISTS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!
