Cleve Jones: When We Rise

Activist Cleve Jones, whose well-received memoir (and ABC Miniseries) When We Rise: My Life in the Movement (Hachette Book Group) is about the gay liberation movement of the 1970s and the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and activism, makes some Seattle appearances today. He’ll sign books and then speak at the 11 a.m. worship service at Plymouth Church. Free and open to the public. Cleve Jones will also appear at a PrideFest screening of Milk at the Egyptian Theater.
