Activist Cleve Jones, whose well-received memoir (and ABC Miniseries) When We Rise: My Life in the Movement (Hachette Book Group) is about the gay liberation movement of the 1970s and the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and activism, makes some Seattle appearances today. He’ll sign books and then speak at the 11 a.m. worship service at Plymouth Church. Free and open to the public.
