Kitsap Pride is representing our local LGBTQ+ community in the Bainbridge Grand Old 4th of July Parade again this year! Come walk with us and show Kitsap County your Pride! We are going to have a fabulous float and want as many people to walk with us we can get!
Some details:
The parade forms up around the Bainbridge Library on Madison, just south of High School Road. You can ask for our entry number at the library (we will post here when we receive it) and you can park over at the High School....

Some details:
The parade forms up around the Bainbridge Library on Madison, just south of High School Road. You can ask for our entry number at the library (we will post here when we receive it) and you can park over at the High School. We want people there from about 12 to 12:30. to be ready for the parade start at 1:00. Keep in mind the earlier you get there, the better the parking options.
It's the 50th anniversary of the parade so the theme is "Blast From the Past". Wearing a 1967 inspired costume or tie dye would be appropriate. If you have a Viva! shirt from walking with us in the Seattle Pride Parade, or any Kitsap Pride shirt that would also be great. Our float is going to be Scooby Doo themed.
We are going to be handing out post cards letting people know about Kitsap Pride and our other events this pride season. We will also be raising awareness about I-1552, the anti-transgender bathroom bill.
