Friendly, no attitude
While the crowd isn't generally my taste, the friendliness and the drinks are. There is no attitude, and folks are friendly and out to have a good time...not to stand a model. A refreshing change.
my worst experience in seattle
If you're not an us citizen, avoid this place! I was controlled at the door with my frendh ID by a very rude doorman, he refused me the entrance because i had not my passport on me @night !!! I never had such a problem like that in any bar in USA, where i travel a lot, except here and the "crescent". I wish i had another idea of northwest hospitality, definitly a bad experience! Then i spend a great night @ the cuff, and madison pub, where ppl were more friendly and welcoming.
Spacious, friendly and genuinely retro
There's a great, friendly, community vibe at this mixed age place (20s-50s) that's been a gay bar for 30+ years. Two spacious bars, huge strong cocktails, kitchen open 'til midnight 7 days and no cover. Happy Hour ('til 8:30) is especially popular.
LOW GRADE AT BEST
While The Drinks Are AWFULLY STRONG someone should mention to them that It Is ILLEGAL to Serve 3 shot cocktails The Bartenders look like they can't wait to get off work and get the hell out of there the place is dismal and feels like your in a kickback to 1985 with really bad music and trite video's comm'on guys this is 2009
