LGBTQ Employability Workshop

Location: Crawford House, Seminar Room A.

We are very excited to invite Berwin Leighton Paisner Graduates Law Firm to come and give a workshop to us on employability and being openly LGBTQ+ in the workplace. They will go through commercial awareness and how to fill out an application form well. You'll also be able to hear from some of the experiences of employees being openly LGBTQ+ in the workplace.

Not sure whether to put your involvement with LGBTQ+ organisations on your CV? Well now's your chance to ask your questions to a top employer. You are also welcome to ask questions on anything related to employability.

This workshop is part of the societies' continued effort to educate and support LGBTQ+ students at the university. All years are welcome, this will especially be good for final year students!

BLP are a very prestigious law firm and they are kindly coming up from London just for us. They do a lot for the LGBTQ+ Community and are in the top 10 for the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2018 and are a top ten trans employer 2018.

As usual this workshop is open to all LGBTQ+ students at the university, this includes interrupted students 🌈

The event and its' guest list are public.
