REVEREND DOLLARS is a Seattle-based DJ/producer who is the founder of DARQNESS: a queer and trans people of color party Her Arson EP was praised by The Stranger as "a cauldron of peak-time, fast-twitch bass music, blazing with party-igniting exhortations, airhorns, A+ funk samples, and heavy-weight-champ percussion."
AH-Mer-AH-Su is the music project of interdisciplinary artist Star Amerasu, whose music and art is based upon her experiences living loud and proud as a queer black trans woman. While her early work was influenced primarily by folk and choral music, she has recently begun experimenting with electronic indie pop. Residing in Oakland, California, Star is a Siren Witch Poptronic Princess and thus takes for granted the power and influence of magic, and her connections to the astral plane. Star has performed 3 consecutive years at the San Francisco Pride Trans March and in 2015 performed for the first time on the at Oakland Pride. She has graced international stages captivating audiences with her looped vocals and live electronic percussion in Berlin and Paris along with spots at the Annual Fresh Meat Festival, SomArts, and The News in San Francisco; Safehouse Arts, Dixon Place Theatre and the Times Square Arts Center in New York City; Long Winter and Unit 2 In Toronto, Canada and at Montreal's Slut Island. AH-Mer-AH-Su released her debut studio EP "Eclipsing" in March of 2016

“LAL is an intersection between idea, place, and people, where we stand for moment and discuss the kind of world we will create. The conversation eventually gives ways to dance, which, in turn, gives way to conversation, which again, makes room for dance. We will win. There’s no doubt”
LAL, the Toronto Electronic duo comprised of Rosina Kazi and Nicolas Murray, will release its hotly anticipated new full-length album, Find Safety, on April 29 through Calgary-based Coax Records. Following that, LAL will head out for dates across Canada in May and June (see full schedule below).
The result of three years of studio work, Find Safety combines a myriad of influences, from Fela Kuti and Massive Attack, to Pete Rock and Detroit Techno. Lyrically, the album is informed by LAL’s community shows at its west end Toronto performance space, Unit 2, as well as Kazi and Murray's passionate ongoing support of social justice causes and art projects, with an emphasis on Queer and/or BIPOC issues. The album overall addresses a need to create safer spaces for themselves and their friends, and musically is a masterful blend of synth and sample-based minimalism. Or as they prefer to call it, 4 a.m. music.
